And don’t forget to reward your pony for everything he does right, more positive reward than negative.

As time rolls by, your pony will awake to the incontrovertible fact that he is far better off bending to your will. When he comes to that realisation, he will be able to also accept that you know what will be best for him.

Even on the second day, my horse did not shy away from the saddle when it came time to get back to the trails in the morning.

Quality Workmanship

It was obvious to methat the horse liked the saddle as much as I did. The saddle also contains plenty of straps for tying on bedding or saddlebags. The flank strap was wide and correctly positioned for my quarter horse. I really cannot find anything to complain about in the saddle.

With the quality of workmanship, I believe the saddle would last a lifetime and then some. I am looking forward to purchasing a Billy Cook Saddle for myself.I know that this would be the correct saddle for me. My son has become quite the horseman himself.I know when I’m gone, he will have fine memories of me when he rides in one of these Billy Cook saddles.
